Packages, commission and separate costs
The website describes Booking Growth (5%), Guest Management (10%) and Premium Growth & Management (15%). Rates are commission per qualifying booking, and the signed agreement must define the qualifying booking, how Kivo attribution is established, the amount used to calculate commission, when commission becomes payable, and the treatment of cancellations, refunds, platform fees and taxes.
- Booking Growth commission applies to bookings attributable to Kivo’s agreed marketing and acquisition efforts.
- Guest Management commission applies to bookings generated by Kivo, including the agreed guest-management service.
- Premium commission applies to qualifying Kivo-generated bookings covered by the Premium agreement.
Paid-advertising budgets are approved and funded separately by the owner. Cleaning, maintenance, transport, on-site visits, third-party expenses and other physical services are separately chargeable where the package says so, unless the written agreement explicitly includes them. Campaign limits and any setup fee should also be agreed in writing before work begins.
Kivo does not guarantee a particular number of enquiries, bookings, occupancy level or revenue. Discounted night-time airport transfers are subject to availability, route and agreed pricing; confirm the transfer provider and any separate charges before booking.
Accommodation licences, tourist fee and tax
Owners and Kivo must confirm their respective roles and responsibilities for each property. The Mauritius Tourism Authority says owners making specified accommodation types available for rent for less than 12 months should hold a valid Tourist Enterprise Licence, and agencies offering accommodation for rent should ensure the units are registered and licensed. The exact effect on each owner and on Kivo depends on the service and operating arrangement.
MRA guidance states that a tourist fee of €3 per eligible tourist aged 12 or above per night applies to eligible tourist accommodation from 1 October 2025. Managers must register eligible accommodation and submit monthly returns and payment. Confirm whether the fee applies to each property, who is its manager for these purposes, and who collects, files and remits it.
Owners remain responsible for confirming their own tax, permits, building/use approvals, insurance and other legal obligations with the relevant authorities and advisers, except where a particular task is expressly accepted by Kivo in a signed agreement. Kivo does not provide legal or tax advice.

Privacy notice — draft
This website currently has no contact form, analytics script or advertising pixel. Its WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-filled enquiry; nothing is sent until the visitor chooses to send it. If you contact Kivo, Kivo may receive your name, contact details, messages and property information. If you engage Kivo, it may also handle owner and guest booking details needed for the agreed services.
Personal information should be used only for stated purposes such as answering an enquiry, assessing a property, delivering the agreed service, communicating about bookings, reporting and meeting legal obligations. It may be shared only as necessary with booking platforms, WhatsApp and service providers such as cleaners, maintenance providers or transfer providers. The actual providers, data locations, legal grounds, retention period, safeguards and data-subject request process must be confirmed and stated by Kivo before launch.
The page currently loads fonts from Google Fonts and a property photograph from a third-party website. Those resources can cause standard connection data to be sent to their providers when a page loads. Replace the photo with Kivo-owned or properly licensed material, and decide whether to self-host fonts before publishing. The privacy contact and current Data Protection Office registration status must be completed.

Service agreement
The signed agreement, not this summary page, should set the chosen package, commission definition and calculation, owner authorisations and platform access, advertising approvals and budget, response hours, campaign limits, visit arrangements, third-party charges, payment and reporting dates, guest-data handling, the initial period, renewal and termination. Get the final agreement reviewed by a Mauritius lawyer before using it with clients.
Last updated: 23 October 2026. This draft should be reviewed when Kivo’s business details, service arrangements or applicable rules change.
